Temporary traffic lights not working on Spalding town centre road, motorists warned

Motorists are being warned that temporary traffic lights are currently not working in a town centre location.

The lights are currently in place along Albion Street in Spalding as a safety measure as work is underway on a property in the street.

Due to this, only one lane is currently operational on the two-lane stretch of road.

However, drivers this morning were having to use their initiative as the cameras were not operational, taking it in turns to head along the road.

“It’s not ideal but the cars seem to be sensible and avoiding any accident,” one reader said.
