Spalding theatre group has been nominated for top award
An award-winning amateur theatre group is preparing for their next production.
St Nicolas Players is gearing up for a comedy drama they will be performing in October. Fight Them for the Beeches, by Kathy Reid, follows a group of mature, eccentric characters whose connection to their residential home, Beeches Manor, and to each other, has deep roots.
The group was been nominated in the National Operatic and Dramatic Association (NODA) awards and won best play in district 5 for A Tomb With A View.
They also won a lockdown hero ‘the show went on’ award from NODA for Spirit Level.
