Greg Pritchard and Vic Paterson of State 11 Soft Tissue Therapy in Spalding to raise funds for Little Miracles community centre

Two soft tissue therapists hope to ease the pain of children in need with two days of fundraising.

Vic Paterson and Greg Pritchard, who run State 11 Soft Tissue Therapy on West Elloe Avenue in Spalding, are planning a ‘pay what you want’ weekend to drum up funds for Little Miracles South Holland.

With a focus on injury prevention, on April 10 and 11 clients can donate whatever amount they can afford - with all proceeds going towards the charity’s aim to create a drop-in support centre for disabled children in Holbeach.

Planning chiefs recently approved Little Miracles’ application to convert a former Church Street shop into a new facility.

Mr Pritchard said: “The longer we’re here, the more people we see, the more we realise that there are parents struggling to get help with kids with really complicated disabilities.

“We have a fantastic record with helping people in pain, and we’ve seen first hand how Little Miracles’ support is so important for the families they help.

“While support on a national and local level is nice, it’s just not sufficient. So they really fill a gap.

“We’re incredibly excited and really looking forward to it.”

Whether clients opt to pay £10 or £100 for their appointments, State 11 will still pass all funds along.

The clinic has been in Spalding for four years, and offers treatments such as remedial massage, sports massage, and fibromyalgia support as well as soft tissue therapy.

Little Miracles planned to raise £10,000 to fund its sanctuary for children with additional needs. It would include a sensory room, disabled changing rooms and youth groups.
