Third combine harvester fire in South Holland in as many days

Firefighters dealt with another combine harvester blaze in South Holland today (Wednesday), the third in as many days.
Crews from Donington and Spalding were called to Wykes Lane, Donington, at about 2.40pm.
Three water hose reels and beaters were used to tackle the blaze which spread to a quarter of an acre of crops.
Previous fires involving combine harvesters were reported in Moulton Seas End yesterday (Tuesday) and Surfleet on Monday when about 24 acres of crops also went up flames.
