Grosvenor Shows bring in thousands of visitors to quilt show at Springfields Events and Conference Centre in Spalding
A popular two-day event brought thousands of visitors bobbing and weaving to enjoy a variety of displays from quilters and textile artists.
Held at Springfields Events and Conference Centre in Spalding, the quilt show is organised by Grosvenor Shows Ltd.
Organisers Peter and Katy Slater put on patchworking, quilting and needlework events and workshops around the UK.
Mr Slater said: “It has always been a popular show in Spalding and there were a couple of thousand over the Friday and Saturday.
“There is a good selection of quilts from well-known quilters, textile artists and quilting groups all over the country and traders come from all over.
“We try to get a great selection of everything related to sewing and there are quilts on display to inspire and workshops available for visitors to try new techniques.”
The annual show has been taking place since 2013 with a break during the pandemic.
Craft lovers can buy equipment and the event caters for different types of sewing enthusiasts.
Mr Slater said: “There are a number of traders selling fabrics, patterns and kits.
“There are patchwork quilts, bags and garments and traders selling nearly every brand of sewing machine.
Dates are in place for next year at the same venue on Friday and Saturday, June 6 and 7.
