Three fire crews from Spalding, Long Sutton and Holbeach attend large waste material fire

Three crews attended are large waste material fire yesterday evening.

The incident took place at Ropers Gate, Gedney at 5.53pm.

Firefighters from Spalding, Holbeach and Long Sutton stations attended.

“Crews from Long Sutton, Holbeach and Spalding attended a large quantity of waste material alight on Ropers Gate, Gedney, Spalding,” a Lincolnshire Fire and Rescue statement read.

“Extinguished using a hose reel and a thermal imaging camera.”
