Three men arrested on suspicion of drug offences after van stopped on A151 near Whaplode
Three men have been arrested on drugs charges after their van was stopped by police.
Officers found and later seized plant food, fertiliser, a small quantity of cannabis as well as lighting equipment after stopping a van on the A151 near Whaplode last night (Sunday, February 16).
They also found lighting equipment as well as trade plates which were believed to be stolen.
A force statement said: “Three men aged 24, 29 and 37 have been arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the production of Class B drugs. The 29-year-old man was also wanted and recalled to prison.
“They remain in police custody and enquiries are ongoing.”
