Spalding Sessions House gets ready for Halloween
A spooky event for those who enjoy Halloween will be taking place at a town venue.
The Sessions House of Horrors in Spalding will be putting on a terrifyingly good time for those brave enough to visit the historic former Magistrates’ Court at Sheep Market.
This year the venue will be expanding their offering with two devilishly exciting events that run until Halloween night – The Séance (October 26-31) and The Sessions House of Horrors Halloween Disco (October 28).
Courthouse owner Oliver Sneath said “Spalding has never seen a Halloween party like it.
“Fancy dress is encouraged, and their will be a prize for the best dressed on the night, but don’t be put off if fancy dress isn’t your style.”
The Séance takes place over five nights from October 26 to 31 and brings the best elements from the previous successful hauntings together in a new, itchingly intimate, and terrifyingly intense setting.
Mr Sneath continued: “The whole team are putting a lot of effort into creating an authentically thrilling setting and spooky atmosphere to immerse people in the evening.
“We want people to enjoy themselves and go away from the event full of spooky vibes and completely satisfied that they’ve ‘done Halloween’ this year”.
Those brave enough to attend the hellishly fun events will be invited in groups of 13 and guided through the building, taking place in key locations within the courthouse.
The disco is a new style of event for the area –encouraging guys and ghouls to dress up in their finest Halloween attire and enjoy a fantastic night of fearful frights.
With a free welcome cocktail on arrival, spooky tunes to dance the night away to, roaming performers to entertain and terrify, spectacularly themed rooms created in partnership with Props2you, and a giant confetti drop during the evening – and a chance to win prizes with competitions and Halloween Courtyard games.
With the unique setting and world class props, these events promise to be a must-visit for thrill seekers in Lincolnshire and surrounding counties.
Mr Sneath added: “For the last three years we’ve hosted Halloween events that have blown our customers away.
“This year is no exception.
“There’s nothing else like it in the East of England, especially in an historic building and unique setting such as this.”
The Séance event runs from October 26-31, from 6pm -10.30pm and tickets cost from £20.17 per person.
The Sessions House of Horrors Halloween Disco is a one night only event on Saturday, October 28 and tickets cost £16 per person – doors open at 6pm and the event runs until midnight.
