Jerry Green Dog Rescue looking for a home for tiny Hugo - and wants contested for its 60 miles in May challenge
In this week's Man's Best Friend column, Jerry Green Dog Rescue introduces us to a little dog who needs a new home and reveals its charity challenge for May...
Good day, little tiny Hugo here. I have had a rough start but I’m now ready to find my own blanket to snuggle under.
I’m looking for a nice quiet home where I can potter around and do my own thing, with someone who is hands off and is happy for me to settle at my own pace.
I love to cuddle into the corners of the sofa and watch TV and then wander outside to help with the gardening. I wouldn’t mind joining you for a trip to the post box though. I’ve only got little legs, so a three foot fence should be adequate to keep me secure.
I can live with another small dog if they are chilled and leave me be, I’m a bit of a pest at first but soon get bored. If everyone could be over 16 years old that would be perfect as I enjoy a peaceful life.
I’m sure in time my cheeky little character will win you over.
Initially I would like my new family to be around most of the time to help me settle in, but this could definitely be built up once I’ve found my paws!
I do have a little bit of a medical issue but my friends at the centre would be more than happy to go over this with you.
If you think I am the right companion for you then please call the centre on 01205 260546 or email slincs@jerrygreendogs.org.uk
