Head teacher Lisa Sexton is over the moon that the school has achieved the good rating for the second time in a row.

She said: “This is important to us as it verifies that we are still a good school and we are delighted with the outcome.

“We are thrilled that our children spoke to the inspectors very articulately about the school.

“That is a huge thing for us as we want everyone to feel part of our school. It was a big thing that our children recognised everyone in our school cares for them and wants the best for them.”

The report states that the school provides a good education for its 78 pupils and that lessons are interesting.

It also praises head teacher Mrs Sexton for her determination for the school to continually improve as well as having high expectations for all pupils.

Inspectors recognised that staff were proud to work for the school and welcome support and training to help them improve their skills. All teach more than one year group and others across two key stages.

The report also highlighted that the school has written a bespoke curriculum which is broad and balanced.

It also states that ensuring children can read is a priority for staff.

It states: “Pupils behave well at the school. They meet and play happily at break times. They move around the school sensibly and are polite to visitors. They do not disrupt lessons but pay attention and do their best.”
