J.F Inkley store in Spalding looks forward to ‘normal trading’ after undergoing repairs

A town business is now relishing returning to normal trading – after repairs to the front of its shop which took more than a year.

The J.F Inkley store, which is located in Francis Street, Spalding, sustained damage in October last year following a collision involving a car.

A supporting beam and front window at the popular mens fashion retailer had been struck in the incident. It was understood that the vehicle reversed into the front of the building.

Andrew Inkley, owner of the family run business, said: “We are very pleased with how it all looks and to get back to normal trading.

“It took over a year to get fixed due to the insurance company and during this time it did affect our trade.”

The business is hoping to welcome new and old customers to have a look at its stock in time for Christmas.
