Spalding M&S Foodhall latest: Store is still set for closure

It has been confirmed that the Marks and Spencer Foodhall in Holland Market, Spalding, WILL still be closing.

As the retail giant today announced that nationally around 7,000 jobs are to go, a spokesperson for the company said that the foodhall is still earmarked for closure.

A date for its closure has still not been revealed, however.

The store had a temporary reprieve when bosses decided to keep it open during the coronavirus pandemic.

It had previously been announced it would close on Saturday, April 11.

M&S also has a clothes outlet at Springfield's Outlet Shopping and Leisure in Spalding.
