Road in Holbeach closed for police incident




UPDATE: Lincs & Notts Air Ambulance (LNAA) has confirmed one of its ambucopters was sent to an industrial incident in Holbeach this morning in which a man was injured.

A spokesman said: "Lincs & Notts Air Ambulance attended an industrial incident and landed at Holbeach United Football Ground.

"A patient was taken to Peterborough City Hospital by land, escorted on board by LNAA doctor and the HEMS (Helicopter Emergency Medical Service) paramedic team.

The road was closed both ways between University of Lincoln Holbeach Campus and Park Lane but is now open again.

PREVIOUSLY: Police say a man in his 40s was injured in an industrial accident this morning which saw a road closed.

The incident, on Park Road, Holbeach was reported to police at 10.47am.

Emergency services attended and Park Road was closed just after 11.30am. A man in his 40s sustained injuries but they are not thought to be life-threatening.

PREVIOUSLY: A Holbeach road has been closed while officers deal with an incident.

Park Road has been closed at the junction with Market Rasen Way.
