Crowland Co-op receives £360,000 make-over

A supermarket has invested £360k into a town store - and says customers will soon be able to benefit from a ‘more modern’ experience.

Lincolnshire Co-op has invested the money into its Crowland food store - with work anticipated to be completed by November 10.

The refurbishment is ongoing, and involves all fixtures and fittings being renewed and the installation of fridge doors and a new CO2 refrigeration system.

A spokesperson for Lincolnshire Co-op said: “This refit will help us offer a more environmentally friendly service to our local community.

“As part of the refurbishment, we’re having fridge doors fitted, which will reduce energy consumption from refrigeration by 27%.

“We’ll also be able to offer an even wider range of healthy fresh foods, and the overall appearance will be more modern.”
