Spalding's Wetherspoon pub to open again on Monday
Spalding's Wetherspoon pub will be one of 44 of the chain's outlets in England to reopen on Monday.
The Ivy Wall, in New Road, will open its outdoor area for drinkers and diners, having closed during the recent lockdown.
Customers will be able to enter the pub to get to the outdoor area and to use the toilet - and there will be no booking system in operation.
Test and trace will be in operation and hand sanitisers will be available.
The pub will be open from 9am to 10pm (Sunday to Thursday inclusive) and 9am to 11pm (Friday and Saturday).
People can order and pay through the Wetherspoon app - but staff will be able to take orders and payment at the table from those who don’t have the app.
The company had opened 394 of its pubs in England on Monday April 12.
A spokesman said the pub will offer a slightly reduced menu, to include breakfast, burgers, pizza, deli deals, fish and chips and some 'British classics'. Food will be available from 9am to 9pm seven days a week.
Wetherspoon chief executive John Hutson said: “We look forward to welcoming our customers and staff back to our pubs.”
