Railway barrier on Winsover Road, Spalding is currently stuck

The railway barrier on Winsover Road in Spalding is currently stuck.

Traffic had queued at the barrier for just over ten minutes when police turned up, informing drivers to turn around and find another way to their destination.

Cars had cleared the barrier by just after 6.05pm this evening (Tuesday). The train barrier at Woolram Wygate was still working shortly afterwards.

We have approached Network Rail to find out why the barrier is stuck and when it will be back in working order, and are awaiting a response.
