Trial date set for Holbeach motorist accused of causing serious injury by careless driving on A16 at Cowbit

A motorist has been handed a trial date after being charged with causing serious injury by careless driving.

Holbeach resident James Boote opted not to give an indication of a plea when he appeared at Boston Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday (November 20).

The 44-year-old is alleged to have caused injury to a fellow road user on the A16 at Cowbit on December 21 last year.

Boote, of Oakwood Glade, will return to the court for an afternoon trial on February 7.
