Under Marcus, the company thrived, culminating in a relocation to a new five-acre site in December 2024, which has allowed for expansion and new business opportunities.

The announcement supports Temple’s aim to enhance its sustainability strategy, focusing on reducing its CO2e emissions and assisting customers in minimizing their environmental impact.

“As we embark on the next stage of our growth, we’re excited to strengthen Temples Transport in partnership with Buffaload,” said Marcus, who will continue in his role as managing director.

“Having worked alongside the Buffaload team, I’ve seen first hand their unwavering commitment to sustainability.

“We want to travel with them on their journey to being the greenest temperature-controlled logistics network in the UK.”

Julie Feltwell, Buffaload managing director, said: “This acquisition is an exciting step for Buffaload.

“Temples Transport is a perfect fit with our existing network and affords opportunities for greater synergies, adding value to both existing and prospective customers alike.”
