You can drop food bank donations off at Spalding Travel

Spalding Travel is again acting as a collection point for Spalding's Agape Care Food Bank this festive season.

The Market Place travel agent has supported the Haverfield Road food bank in its efforts to distribute Christmas hampers to families in need.

The team at Spalding Travel is asking customers and those in the local community to donate an item or two to support local people struggling to put food on the table this Christmas.

Items that can be donated include:

· Bread sauce;

· Gravy granules;

· Christmas cake;

· Savoury snacks;

· Selection boxes;

· Chocolate mints;

· Pringles;

· Mince pies;

· Christmas crackers;

· Colouring books;

· Felt tip pens.

Donations can be dropped into the Spalding Travel store (6 Market Place) from 9am-5pm, Mondays to Saturdays. Final date for donations is December 12.

Managing director Christina Fitzpatrick said: "We would greatly appreciate any donations that the people of Spalding can make to help spread some festive cheer to those in need."
