Trial date set for man who denies murder of Vadims Zmicerevskis in Spalding
A man who denies murder will go on trial in July, a court heard.
Viktors Zeglovs, 33, of no fixed address, has pleaded not guilty to the murder of Vadims Zmicerevskis in Spalding last year.
Mr Zmicerevskis, 45, died after an incident at the junction of Green Lane and St Thomas' Road on Monday, November 11.
A pre-trial hearing at Lincoln Crown Court heard Mr Zeglovs will face a trial beginning on July 14.
The trial is expected to last between seven and ten days.
Mr Zeglovs also denies a second charge of manslaughter relating to the unlawful killing of Mr Zmicerevskis on November qq.
Judge Catarina Sjolin Knight adjourned the case for trial.
Mr Zeglovs remains remanded into custody.
