Crowland and Deeping firefighters called out to fire in Common Drove




Two fire crews were called out to tackle a blaze on the edge of a town last night.

Firefighters from Crowland and the Deepings were called into action at about 9.26pm after reports of an incident ‘in the open’ in Common Drove, Crowland.

A spokesman said the fire saw severe damage caused to 4sqm of rubbish and a patch of ground measuring about 4mx2m.

The fire was extinguished using a hose reel jet and the ‘Cobra’ tool.
