Two-day event for dog lovers to be held by East Anglian Staffordshire Bull Terrier Club in Spalding
A two-day event for dog lovers will be held this week.
The East Anglian Staffordshire Bull Terrier Club will celebrate their 50th anniversary championship dog show at Springfields Events Centre on Saturday, with around 200 entries.
But to whet the appetite there will be a fun day for all at the same venue on Friday.
The fun day will run from 10.30am to 3pm and include games, classes, trick training, Kennell Club seminars, health testing and pet photo booth.
“It’s open to anyone. It will be mostly Staffordshire Bull Terriers there, but we won’t turn anyone with a dog away,” said club secretary Lesley McFadyen.
Saturday's Golden Jubilee event will see doors open at 8am and judging from 9am for special award classes.
Main judging will get underway after 10am and continue until around 4pm.
Classifications include minor puppy, top veteran, novices and champions.
Entry for spectators is free, with money raised via a raffle.
