Spalding town centre set to get spruce up

A town centre will be spruced up over the next two months.

Contractors will start with repairing the damaged kerbing along the on-street parking spaces in Sheep Market. This is expected to take three weeks.

Next, they will be moving into Hall Place when uneven and lose block paving will be repaired.

The team will also be sorting out drainage issues which had caused standing water.

Council officials say that talks have been held with markets manager and nearby traders to discuss how to minimise disruption.
