Two-vehicle collision on A52 near Donington

One person was taken to hospital after a collision involving two vehicles on the A52 near Donington earlier today (Friday, October 16).

Fire crews from Donington, as well as Billingborough and Sleaford, were called to the Bridge End section of the A52 in Horbling shortly after 5.40am.

Two people were given first aid by firefighters who also used small tools to make the vehicles safe and cleared up a fuel leak.

One of the people injured was later taken to Boston's Pilgrim Hospital for further treatment.
