UPDATE: Pensioner found dead in ditch in Sutton St James

Police say the body of a man in his eighties was found in a ditch next to his vehicle in Sutton St James this morning (Thursday).

Officers are treating this death as unexplained and are awaiting the outcome of a post mortem.

The man’s family have been informed.

THURSDAY, 9.33AM: Emergency services are on scene at a serious RTC involving one man on the B1390 at Sutton St James.

Cockbourn Fen Dike by the junction of B1390 Jarvis Gate is closed, and police are asking people to find alternative routes if possible.
