Donington Co-op raises cash for village's Ruby Hunt Centre

Three fundraising events at Donington Co-op raised nearly £500 for the village's community centre.

A raffle in October, cake sale in November and Christmas Fair last month raised a total amount of £496 for the Ruby Hunt Centre.

Store community fundraiser Michelle Thorpe said the centre is run by volunteers who do a lot for the community, including a three-course lunch every Wednesday for pensioners.
