Unique Cottage Studios in Low Fulney host successful open studio event
Visitors from around the area unleashed their inner creativity at a popular event.
Unique Cottage Studios in Low Fulney held the successful open studio event on Friday and Saturday.
Visitors were able to take a look behind the scenes to find out what the talented artists on site do and discover an array of handmade crafts.
Landscape artist and tutor Jacs Harris said: “It was a really good day and we were very pleased with the turnout – our car park was overflowing.
“We all feel very passionate about improving the art scene in Spalding and hosting these events allows people to take part in activities which help with their mental heath and wellbeing, as well as social skills and making new friends.”
Some of the mediums for sale included pottery and ceramics, mosaics, jewellery, printmaking, textiles, stained glass and eco-printing, photography, weaving and more.
Unique Cottage Studios have lots of workshops throughout the year for visitors to get stuck into –including a creative taster session on Saturday, June 7, and Friday, June 13.
The class will feature four one hour-long sessions with different artists. Tickets cost £115 per person and include a light lunch.
The site will host its next open studio event on November 14 and 15.
