With plans already well underway for this year's season, there is a call for more volunteers to come forward and support the hard work in making the area look pretty.
Stephen Johnson, South Holland in Bloom Chairman and vice-chairman of Holbeach in Bloom, said the groups offer friendship.
He said: "People across the area appreciate and enjoy the flowers in our towns and villages which brings out a wonderful community spirit.
"Volunteers put hours and hours of time into in bloom groups and the more people we have the better.
"Anyone who has a few hours to spare are welcome and you do not need to have any skills.
"You work as part of a voluntary team and make areas look really beautiful.
"The In Bloom groups across the area are great fun and there is always little projects to get involved with.
"Please bring yourslf along and get involved in your local group."
South Holland in Bloom has been running for a number of years and offers a host of support to village and town groups.
During the meetings, important information is exchanged and groups also have the opportunity to receive grant funding to support projects in their areas.
Mr Johnson also added that groups do necessarily have to enter into the East Midlands in Bloom competition.
Volunteers for Holbeach in Bloom make a big difference across the town with planters in the town centre along with looking after one of the largest gardens.
People of all ages get involved and the youngest in Holbeach is just three years-old.
