Owners of Thea Coffee House in Long Sutton give ‘heartfelt’ thanks for support shown for their Greek cuisine
Owners of a new café have expressed their ‘heartfelt’ thanks for the support shown since their opening day.
Thea Coffee House in Long Sutton was opened recently by Vasiliki Nastou and her sister Aimiliana - and the Greek cuisine went down a treat.
The High Street cafe and bakery has undergone a number of renovations thanks to the help of the sisters’ family.
Vasiliki, who lives in Spalding, said: “We want to extend a heartfelt thanks to all the local people who came out to support us at the opening of our café bakery.
“It was amazing to see so many there, making our first day a memorable one.
“The opening went very well, it was busy all day and they were very happy with the service and the food.”
Customers sampled dishes from the menu such as gyros, spinach pie, burgers, pancakes, smashed avocado on toast and cakes plus a kids’ menu is available.
Feedback has been positive with online reviews praising how welcoming the café is and wishing the sisters ‘every success’.
The eatery offers a taste of Greek cuisine along with some staples such as a cooked breakfast, brunch and lunch.
Mrs Nastou, 40, said: “The enthusiasm and encouragement means the world to us.
“We are excited to be part of this wonderful community and can’t wait to serve delicious treats, freshly brewed coffee and warm hospitality.
“We hope our café becomes a cozy spot where you can relax, unwind and enjoy fresh homemade goods.”
First time business owner Vasiliki used to live in North London and moved to the area six months ago looking for a premises to rent.
She hopes the new venture will offer job opportunities in the town.
