Pretty Muddy challenge for Spalding gym members
Members of a gym have taken on the challenge of a charity run to raise money for a good cause.
Natalia Macek, Ana Kazanska, and Lisa Porter who attend Snap Fitness in Spalding, took on the Cancer Research UK, Race for Life - Pretty Muddy 5k at New Rutland Showground in June.
The trio had a target goal of £200 and aim to bring awareness to the charity that raises vital money for cancer research - and were sponsored by personal trainer Kieran James
Natalia said: “We decided to take part this year not just for the fun but because this cause means a lot to us.
“Like many others, we have seen friends, family, and colleagues go through cancer.
“Some are still fighting, some are in remission, and sadly, some are no longer with us”
They tackled the muddy obstacle course which is just over three miles long - climbing up rope ladders and clambering through giant muddy inflatables.
Natalia added: “We wanted to do something to help raise awareness and funds for cancer research.
“Every pound we raise really can make a difference.”
