New community garden opens in Donington - thanks to help from a kind business

A village community and herb garden has had an unbelievable makeover thanks to a big-hearted firm.

Donington-based business, Dejex, which supplies to the horticultural industry, kindly transformed the garden free of charge.

The community garden is attached to Donington's community library and hub in High Street.

Rowena Stevenson, co-owner of Dejex, previously told us: “We are always trying to support different activities in the village.

"We have sponsored displays for In-Bloom and a friend of mine is involved in the volunteering that goes on in the library.

“They needed something doing with the herb garden, and because we have that involvement in the horticultural industry, I thought we would be able to do that for them."
