Holbeach woman is disqualified for 2 years after causing death by careless driving




A Holbeach woman has been banned for two years after admitting causing death by careless driving.

Amy McDowell (32), of Maple Grove, pleaded guilty to causing the death of Ashley Cunningham on the A17 at Long Sutton on September 23 by not driving without due care and attention.

She appeared before Lincoln Magistrates Court on Wednesday.

McDowell was given a year's community order with a maximum of 30 days activity. She was also fined £120 along with being ordered to pay £90 victim surcharge and £85 costs.

She has been disqualified for two years.
