Lincolnshire Police appeals for information after fatal crash on A16 bypass between Cowbit and A1175 near Spalding
A woman has died and two people were seriously injured after a crash on a main road.
Lincolnshire Police is appealing for witnesses and information after a fatal crash on the A16 bypass at Cowbit.
The incident, which involved two vehicles, was called in to police just after 11.30pm yesterday (Friday, August 30), having taken place on the A16 between Applegreen Services and Cowbit.
The driver of a blue Renault Twingo, a woman in her 20s, has died as a result of the crash. Her family have been made aware and are being supported by specially trained officers.
The occupants of a black BMW 325D M Sport, a man and a woman, were seriously injured and have been taken to hospital.
Investigators are now appealing to anyone who has not already spoken to officers and who may have witnessed the incident or have dashcam footage to get in touch.
