Women prevented from entering Hall Place in Spalding under court order

A woman will not be able to enter parts of the town centre under a new court order.

Leanne Thornton, of no fixed abode, has been given a two year Criminal Behaviour Order which will prevent her from entering Hall Place in Spalding or stores which are part of the Shopwatch scheme, following what police describe as ‘a series of prolific offences of theft, public order and assault’.

Officers from the Neighbourhood Police Team (NPT) have been patrolling the town centre as part of a bid to tackle anti-social behaviour.

“The order prohibits entry to Hall Place and from entering Shop watch Shops. This provides police powers to arrest and proactively deal with antisocial behaviour.
