Toy fair returned to Spalding's Springfields Event and Conference Centre




Children big and small were delighted by some of their favourite treasures when a popular event returned to Spalding.

Springfields Events and Conference Centre played host to the much-loved Toy Fair on Sunday, where visitors got a chance to take a look at a mix of classic and modern items.

Those in attendance were able to splurge a few pennies on a wide range of toys, from model railway sets and trains to dolls and Disney princesses.

More than 60 traders were on hand to take grown ups back to their youth while bringing joy to the younger visitors too.

Lorraine Powles. of event organiser J & J Fairs, said: “It went very well and we had about 500 people through the door which is great.

“It’s nice to see people getting back to normal as they put covid behind them.

“The fairs draw so many different people of different ages and this time we had 66 traders, which is one of the best we’ve had for a while.

“It was a very good day.”

The fair visits Springfields six times a year and will be back again on Sunday, May 21.
