Whaplode and Moulton roadworks start to fix sunken manhole
Work has started on repairing a sunken manhole on the A151.
Cones had surrounded the sunken manhole for the last few weeks to highlight the issue to motorists driving between Whaplode and Moulton.
Traffic lights are now in place as Openreach begins to repair the site.

A spokesperson for Openreach said: “We are sorry for any disruption being caused on the A151. Our engineers are working as quickly as they can to replace a manhole cover that has been damaged.
"We’re hoping to get the works finished today, but there is a very small chance we may need to finish off tomorrow.”
