Work to be carried out on Boston Road South, Holbeach
Highways bosses say they will be undertaking work on a prominent dip on a busy road.
Motorists driving through Boston Road South in Holbeach have to brace themselves going over the very significant dip.
Lincolnshire County Council and Anglian Water have spent thousands of pounds on repairing the road in recent years but still the dip keeps returning.
The county council has conducted a fresh survey of the site and will be undertaking work this week.
A council spokesman said: "We are measuring and monitoring the site regularly and paying particular attention to the road surface movement.
"We will be overlaying the dip itself this week to bring it back up to level while we continue to investigate. We do expect it to move again but the temporary measure will level out the road in the short term.
“We will get the road level whilst we're deciding on the best course of action that comes to light from the investigation."
