University Academy Long Sutton open for prospective pupils and their parents

Year 6 pupils from surrounding primary schools had the chance to visit University Academy Long Sutton with their parents.

The annual Year 6 Open Evening was very well attended and there were three hours of activities and tours.

More than 62 students, many of them from Year 7, volunteered to take tours and even more stayed in each department to help out.

The visiting pupils really enjoyed making wooden boats and filling in activity cards, and were presented with certificates. The Science department as always caused excitement with its bangs and experiments.

The following day there was another open day, when families could come and see the school in action. The families that came in were impressed by the activities that they saw and the calm, hard-working atmosphere around all areas of the school.

If anyone would like a tour of the school they are more than welcome to call and make an appointment.
