Spalding United draw with Boldmere St Michaels in the Northern Premier League Midlands Division
Spalding moved within a point of clinching a play-off place in the Northern Premier League Midlands Division on Saturday.
The third-placed Tulips returned with a share of the spoils after a 1-1 draw at promotion rivals Boldmere St Michaels.
Andre Brown had given the hosts a ninth minute lead after a penalty was controversially awarded following a foul by Nathan Stainfield.
The Tulips then rallied well in the second half of the match and levelled with 10 minutes remaining through Brad Rolt.
Bourne Town also boosted their bid for a play-off spot in Division One of the United Counties League.
The Wakes were 1-0 home winners over fellow high-flyers Newark Town thanks to a goal from Robbie Ellis.
It leaves Bourne with a seven-point cushion over their defeated visitors with four matches of the season remaining.
Pinchbeck United went down to a narrow 1-0 home defeat against Boston Town in their Premier Division North derby.
The defeat dropped the Knights down to 17th place level on points with AFC Mansfield who were 3-2 home winners over Deeping Rangers.
The Clarets had been two goals ahead inside the opening 13 minutes through a double strike from Ben Seymour-Shove.
However, Joe Harrison cut the deficit just past the half-hour mark before two goals from Tom Lees-Collier in as many minutes late on secured the win for the Bulls.
