Holbeach and District Darts League finals night
A trio of double successes were completed at the Holbeach and District Summer Darts League finals night on Friday.
Tigers D, Tigers A and the Anchor B (Sutton Bridge) had already lifted the Division One, Two and Three titles respectively ahead of the culmination of the summer season.
And they all rounded off super seasons by winning their respective divisional knock-out cups with victory in the finals held at the Tigers Sports and Social Club.
Tigers D beat their club-mates Tigers C 17-11 to win the Division One trophy while Tigers A defeated Rose & Crown B 14-6 in the Division Two competition.
The Anchor B again got the better of league runners-up Ship (Long Sutton) in the Division Three cup after a narrow 17-16 victory.
Hank Watson was the winner of the Captain's Cup after a 3-1 success over Logan Goddard while Claire Brooklyn triumphed in the ladies' competition following a 3-1 win against Casey Hill.
The pairs competitions saw Nick Lee and Jayden Lee (Anchor) take the Division Three honours after a 3-2 win over Chris Stubbings and Gary Edwards (Ship).
Monty Bunn and Craig Pilcher (Greyhound) took the Division Two accolade after a 3-1 victory over Tony Middleton and Nick Horspool (Royal British Legion).
The Division One crown went to Mark Waters and Adam Bland (Rose and Crown A) after a 3-2 success over Simon Hill and Casey Hill (Tigers D).
Lee Merrison (Ship) won the Division Three singles after a 3-2 win over Chris Stubbings (Ship).
Bib Sutton (Anchor A) came out on top in the Division Two final after a 3-2 victory against Luke Emmins (Greyhound).
Simon Hill (Tigers D) won the Division One prize following his 3-2 success over Mark Waters (Rose & Crown).
League secretary Alan Wright said it had been a great night of darts with some good young players in the league on show. He also thanked everyone who had helped on the night.
The new winter league campaign will get underway on Friday with the Caley Cup fours competition being staged on Friday, December 13.
