They had dropped down a place after a 4-0 home defeat against reigning champions Uppingham Town on Saturday.

It was Harrox's first defeat since their Senior Cup exit at Warboys in November and their only league loss since being beaten by the Witches in mid-October.

Former Pinchbeck United player Jordan Neil hit a hat-trick for Uppingham who are now favourites to retain their title.

They are a point adrift of league leaders FC Peterborough with three matches in hand while Moulton are in a similar position having played two games less than the table-toppers but one more than Uppingham.

Holbeach United Reserves maintained their rich vein of form with a 2-1 home success over Oundle at Carter's Park on Saturday.

The Tigers' second string have only lost once in the Premier Division since the middle of October as goals from Jordan Keeble and Kieron McConnell secured Saturday's success.

They then shared the spoils in a midweek draw with Tydd where Jordan Keeble scored for the Tigers after Jamal Nyang had put the visitors ahead.

A hat-trick from Brad Easey had boosted Tydd's hopes of avoiding a bottom two finish after a 3-1 away win at Ramsey on Saturday.

It was a vital success as two of the other teams in the bottom four also won with Wittering Premiair defeating FC Peterborough while Leverington were 1-0 away winners at fast-fading Deeping Rangers Reserves on Saturday.

Crowland remain on track for a lofty finish after a 2-0 away success at Stilton thanks to goals from Harry Grigas and Joe Cole.

Holbeach United Sports moved up into third place in Division One after a 3-1 away win at Eunice Huntingdon.
