Pinchbeck United host Haverhill Rovers in the Thurlow Nunn League
Lewis Thorogood wants his Pinchbeck United side to maintain their levels of intensity in an important month of fixtures for the Knights.
They start a crucial spell on Saturday with a home match against Thurlow Nunn League Division One North high-flyers Haverhill Rovers at the Sir Halley Stewart ground (3pm).
League matches against Wivenhoe, Framlingham and Gorleston Reserves also feature this month along with two home cup clashes.
They host Bourne Town in the quarter-final of the Lincolnshire Senior Trophy on Tuesday, November 19, before entertaining Premier Division title challengers Fakenham Town a week later in the League Cup.
The Knights had taken the lead before conceding three times in an indifferent spell that they shrugged to earn a share of the spoils.
Thorogood said: "These ragged spells that we're having in games probably comes with a bit of youthfulness and naivety which I'm sure all teams at our level experience now because a lot of them are young sides.
"We need to be a bit more sharper and street-wise and alert in what we're doing, especially when defending as a unit.
"We need to make sure that we keep the intensity up that we finished with on Saturday because we've got a really busy November."
Their Suffolk visitors on Saturday are currently in second spot having lost just once in their 17 league outings this term.
Thorogood added: "They are a very direct and physical side from all reports and probably a bit United Counties League-esque.
"That will probably suit us because it's what we're used to playing against for the last few seasons.
"It won't be a massive issue for us to change our mind-set and be prepared defensively for a long ball and physical game.
"I do feel that if we can turn up and play with the intensity and style that we've got then we've got a decent chance."
The Knights have been boosted by the return to their playing ranks of Krisztian Gagyi following a spell in Romania.
Gagyi has been playing for FC Bihor Oradea and marked his Pinchbeck comeback with a goal in Saturday's 3-3 draw.
Thorogood said: "Krisztian is a significant asset to us. He's a flair player with an abundance of skill and ability.
"He is a player who can change games and that was certainly the case on Saturday because he gave us a shot in the arm when he came on."
Holbeach travel to sixth-placed Framlingham on Saturday looking to build on last weekend's home win over Needham Market Under 23s.
