Pinchbeck United host Diss Town in the Thurlow Nunn League
Knights boss Lewis Thorogood is looking for his Pinchbeck United side to regain some momentum in their campaign after a stuttering run of results.
Pinchbeck have picked up just two points from their last five games - four of which have been against sides aiming for a place in the play-offs - in the Thurlow Nunn League Division One North.
It has seen Pinchbeck slip down to 11th spot in the league standings ahead of Saturday's home match with fifth-placed Diss Town.
The Tangerines currently occupy the final play-off berth and were 3-1 home winners over Pinchbeck in their first meeting in Norfolk last month.
Thorogood said: "We've played a lot of games recently against sides in the play-offs which probably shows that we're just a little bit short of where we need to be.
"Diss are a very physical and direct side who work very heavily off set pieces, crosses and long throws but it's a big pitch at the Sir Halley Stewart so hopefully we'll be able to stretch them out a little bit which might work in our favour.
"They are physically a very strong side but we've got to try and bounce back and get some more points on the board and get a bit of momentum going again because we're just stuttering a little bit at the minute.
"We have to go out there and perform and, if we play like we can do, then we will always stand a chance."
Pinchbeck go into Saturday's clash after a 2-0 away defeat against league leaders Haverhill Rovers last weekend.
The Knights had hit the woodwork through JJ Ward when the game was goalless before falling behind in the 20th minute when Adden Tokley put the hosts in front.
Haverhill then doubled their lead three minutes before half-time when Tom Head converted a low cross from Kai Nicholls.
Pinchbeck continued to look for a way back into the contest after the break with Joe Melson going closest for the Knights who were unable to claw back the deficit as Haverhill moved within six points of clinching the league title.
Thorogood added: "Haverhill have got some fantastic facilities and all credit to them because they are the champions-elect.
"They run everything right, are a well-drilled side who just find ways to win games. Everything about the whole game-day experience was more step four or five than step six.
"There was just a buzz about the place. It's a good club who are well deserving of winning the league.
"We started quite brightly but conceded the two goals to little lapses of concentration.
"We came out for the second half though and really took it to them. We were the more dominant side but didn't really lay a glove on them.
"Haverhill deserved the win on the balance of things but we might have had half a chance of coming away with a point if we had played in the first half like we did the second but that's been the story of our season.
"Those inconsistent periods in games and lapses in concentration have been the difference between being in the play-offs or not quite being ready for them."
Holbeach are now nine points adrift of the play-off places in eighth spot after losing at home to Dussindale and Hellesdon last weekend.
They travel to sixth-placed Gorleston Reserves on Saturday where victory can move the Tigers above their Norfolk hosts in the standings.
