Will Cole was also going well in the Unlimited Bangers but ended up rolling his car in the early stages of the fourth heat.

Reece Crane produced his best drive of the season in the 1300 Stock Cars in the Dash for the Cash when he repelled all challengers.

He was up against it though when there was a stoppage called with two laps to go and he had star grade driver Dean Moat breathing down his neck.

Crane still held his line well with Moat only getting past on the final bend with Reece still finishing in second.

Joe Bamford was also battling well in the 1300 Stock Cars with a fifth place finish in his heat being his best finish of the night.

Canterbury's Jacob Bromley was victorious in the 1300 Stock Car World of Shale Championship.

Thousands were left unable to get tickets for the event but those that attended were treated to a brilliant night of action with plenty of big fireworks both on and off the track.
