BriSCA F1 Stock Cars will begin their national campaign at king’s Lynn
Racing returns to King's Lynn this Saturday (5pm) where the BriSCA F1 Stock Cars will begin their national campaign.
They follow on from the F2 Stock Cars and 2L Stock Cars starting their national seasons at King’s Lynn a fortnight ago.
The 2L Stock Cars are also back in action with the BriSCA MiniStox making their only 2024 appearance at King’s Lynn.
An F1 Stock Car meeting at King’s Lynn would not be complete without one of the Spalding based Sargent team being in action.
It is the elder statesman of the team who has confirmed that he will be taking his place on the grid at the season opener.
Mark has been busy recently helping the promoters in Holland publicise the sport and took his car over to the Expo Show in Leeuwarden where it formed part of a static display and also took part in some indoor demo races which were very well received by overseas fans.
The King’s Lynn season opener has been a good meeting to Mark in the past.
His final win came at this meeting back in 2018 and he won the White and Yellow Championship at the King’s Lynn opener back in 2022.
Racing also comes from the 2L Stock Cars and three south Lincolnshire stars who were in action at the opener a fortnight ago will be back in the shape of Rowan Venni, Robert Heanes and Wes Starmer.
Rowan and Robert both had decent starts to 2024 and got to take home some silverware at the season opener with Wes having a tough opener after being at the wrong place at the wrong time in every race - he will be hoping lady luck is kinder to him this Saturday.
