Spalding United held at home by Sutton Coldfield Town in the BetVictor NPL South East Division
This was certainly a case of deja vu for Spalding United.
For the second successive Saturday, they led at half-time and fell behind to a quickfire double before one of the Brownhill brothers earned a point.
The Tulips also recorded a fourth consecutive draw at the Sir Halley Stewart Field, including three results by this scoreline.
Spalding's supporters still haven't celebrated a home win since early September - and there have been none on a Saturday so far this season.
The final home fixture of 2019 probably should have ended that run to complete a double over Sutton Coldfield Town following the 2-0 away win on the opening day of the campaign.
Instead, the Tulips dropped two points by allowing the Royals back into the contest.
Scott Floyd wasted a golden chance to break the deadlock before Joel Brownhill converted from the penalty spot after Desean Martin's foul on Gianluca Bucci.
Isai Marselia got a close-range equaliser to punish Spalding for a failure to clear a long throw.
Four minutes later, Sutton Coldfield went ahead when a long ball found Reece Gibson who fired a right-foot drive into the bottom corner of the net.
Tulips skipper Lewis Brownhill soon smashed the leveller from the edge of the penalty box just moments after having a penalty claim rejected.
Two more appeals were turned down but Spalding had a lucky escape as Bucci nodded off the line to prevent an own goal following Michael Duggan's poor punch from a corner.
Sutton Coldfield played stoppage time with 10 men after Ryan Moore's red card for a reckless challenge on Ben Greenwood.
Tulips right-back Owen Betts could have been sent off as well - but he wasn't punished for retaliation and he picked up a yellow card at the end of another hard-fought match.
