Bartosz Cybulski who played for Derby County under the management of Wayne Rooney signs for Spalding United

A striker who played under the management of former England and Manchester United star Wayne Rooney is the latest addition to the Spalding United ranks.

Bartosz Cybulski was at Derby County during Rooney's tenure where he made his Football League debut as a substitute in a 1–0 win against Peterborough United.

The 21-year-old striker, who stands at six foot six inches, was also part of the AFC Fylde squad that won promotion from the National League North.

He joined the Tulips for an undisclosed fee from National League North side King's Lynn.

Cybulski - who has played for Poland at Under 19 level - will be in the Spalding squad for their home Southern League Premier Division Central clash with Lowestoft Town tonight (Tuesday).
