Jaxon Ellis attended the World Kickboxing Organisation awards ceremony in Barnsley
A young kickboxing star from Cowbit has produced a series of sparkling performances to top the rankings in his age group.
Eight-year-old Jaxon Ellis has been training in martial arts since he was three and is working towards gaining his black belt.
The Moulton Chapel Primary School pupil has been competing in local and national competitions over the last two years where he has produced some amazing and outstanding achievements.
He attended the World Kickboxing Organisation (WKO) awards ceremony in Barnsley over the weekend where he was ranked number one Grand Prix grand champion for his age and weight division.
Jaxon - who trains with Inspired Martial Arts in Peterborough - also won special awards for the best kick and favourite fighter out of 2,500 athletes.
It capped a memorable year for Jaxon who has competed in 11 competitions and achieved 30 gold medals, three silvers and bronze.
He has also enjoyed a series of successes at WKO events this year after being crowned World, European, Arnold Sports, British Open and English Open points fighter champion for his age and weight (seven-eight year years -35kgs).
Jaxon has his own tiktok channel - @jaxon.storm2 - and is always looking for sponsors to help with the cost of training, competitions and equipment.
He will continue to compete in competitions across England next year where he aims to continue his remarkable run of success.
