Abbi Pulling produces a strong performance in British Formula Four races at Thruxton




Abbi Pulling took her second podium in British Formula Four after a strong weekend at Thruxton.

The weekend started well for Pulling as she had a solid qualifying with a series of strong laps which led to her coming in fourth.

In the opening race of the weekend, the Gosberton driver successful navigated a red flag affected session as the race was curtailed to only seven laps - a short amount of time to gain positions.

Towards the end of the race, Pulling was running well however an incident ahead promoted her to the second step of the podium.

In the second race, the former Bourne Academy pupil failed to capitalise on the reverse grid format and came in 12th but less than a second away from a points-paying position.

In the third and final race, Pulling was battling throughout the race with Jack Sherwood to try and make her way onto the podium, however, her fellow Rodin Motorsport driver prevailed leaving the 21 year-old in fourth.

The 2024 Formula Four season continues at Silverstone this weekend.
