2L Stock Cars, 1300 Stock Cars, 1600cc Bangers and Junior Bangers in action at King’s Lynn meeting

Stock car and banger racing returns to King's Lynn for an unusual in-season Sunday date this weekend.

Racing is coming from the 2L Stock Cars, 1300 Stock Cars, 1600cc Bangers and Junior Bangers for a meeting which starts at 1pm.

Plenty of cars are booked in for each formula for what is looking like being a great afternoon of action.

Both stock car formulas have plenty of south Lincolnshire drivers in action.

Wes Starmer is currently showing great form on shale in the 2L Stock Cars.

He won his heat and final at Northampton last Saturday and will be looking to reproduce that this weekend.

Tom Yould is always quick around King's Lynn while Rowan Venni will be looking to keep up his run of podium finishes at the Norfolk circuit in 2024 with Rob Heanes completing the line up of rapid stars.

Three 1300 Stock Car aces will also be in action.

Joe Bamford came close to winning the meeting final last time out and will be doing what he can to take his first chequered flag in the formula after several close calls in what has been a fantastic move for him from BriSCA F2.

Joe will be moving up the grades from May 1 and this will be his last outing from white so he will be keen to impress.

Reece Crane has had a tough start to the season and, if he didn’t have bad luck at meetings, he would have no luck at all.

His smart new car for 2024 is showing good pace though and things will surely start to fall into place for him soon.

Caine Parnell completes the trio of names who will be in action and he will also be keen to get back onto a winning track.
